Ten years of meetings, discoveries and innovations: this could be the retrospective summary since the creation of the Rendez-vous de la Matière in 2013. By working hand in hand with all the players who think and create the architecture and design of tomorrow, we have been able to promote numerous materials that are part of a forward-looking vision and that meet contemporary needs.

Mobilising a large community of specifiers driven by a common passion – that of materials and know-how – Les Rendez-vous de la Matière + fair(e) naturally connects with the needs of professionals (architects, designers, decorators, etc.) through the deliberate combination of aesthetics and performance. This emphasis on shapes, textures, colours and densities is expressed each year in the service of new solutions designed to improve the interior or exterior envelope of the building.

By drawing on the expertise of both manufacturers and craftsmen, our annual event offers a look at the trends in the prescription market. Today, Les Rendez-vous de la matière + Fair(e) puts into perspective the various environmental issues linked to the sectors, as well as the innovations that result from them, with a view to shedding light on new, more sustainable consumption patterns.

This year, we are renewing our commitment to a sustainable scenographic project and using recycled and reusable materials for all the stands; an approach that aims to reinforce this logic of preservation that we all share.
